'Gillyatt Sumner House' in Kingston Upon Hull, East Yorkshire

Unique bespoke mini-package guest accommodation with delicious meals in our grade II listed townhouse home. 'Gillyatt Sumner House' is in the heart of the Old Town conservation area within Yorkshire's only Maritime City.

We only offer one booking per month (not normally weekends) to ensure and maintain the highest standards of guest comfort and care.

Our guests enjoy a large double bedroom (comfortable double bed) with a magnificent en-suite bathroom (separate bath and shower) both decorated in 'country house style' plus use of a garden roof terrace. Our guest suite is reached by two separate staircases so isn't accessible for those with mobility issues. We also offer a personal guided tour of Hull’s quaint Old Town or nearby historic Beverley; both Hull and Beverley have recently featured in major film and television productions.

We include delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners with wine, served at times our guests select; regrettably we cannot cater for special diets other than mainstream vegetarian.

Why visit Hull? You will not be subject to the excesses of mass tourism or hefty entry fees (indeed hardly any) as in nearby York.
